Ray Ortlund at Christ is Deeper Still posts a quote from J Edwards about the ease with which we pray for earthly concerns, but the difficulty in praying for our spiritual well-being. This resonates as sales are off the past few days, and I have (rightly) brought this before my Father. However, I have also struggled with joy as a Christian, but how seldom do I wrestle with God about this?
